We landed on an overnight flight from the UK and arrived at the hotel at 10am, Check In was not until 2pm but because the room was ready they allowed an early check in. "This is a no frills hotel. I am not sure if it was a language issue or a cultural issue, but none of my requests were met. I asked for a wake up call. It never came. I asked for a taxi to be called, I ended up having to catch one on my own on the street. The hotel is a few blocks from an ATM and super market. Places to eat are a bit further away. Once I was shown how the television worked, it operated fine."
