"We loved the resort! It was beautiful and the beach was stunning. The staff was wonderful! Especially Chan Ny. He was very attentive and accommodating for us. We did have one safety issue/ concern with an unwanted guest on the property. The staff took care of this immediately and after the one issue- it was not a problem again. "Nice property that is in need of many repairs. Pool tiles gone and not replaced. Ditto for decking. Ditto for pool and beach gear (Masks, snorkels etc) in need of replacement. Lovely villa and it was spotless. By far the best improvement would be the meals which were far below average. We took across the bay to eat at the high beach as the Pearl needs both better quality and decent food. Coming from Phenom Penh and Seam Reap which had amazing food and options we were disappointed. "

"Absolutely appalling experience! The hotel prioritized an event, booking every room except ours. The event overtook the pool area with blaring music and screaming girls for over 5 hours, making it unusable. To make matters worse, we discovered uncleaned feces behind the toilet in our room and rats scurrying around the main pool area. Despite our complaints to the staff, the noise was unbearable, even on the top floor, drowning out the TV. We were forced to leave the resort and spend hours...

"We found the staff friendly courteous and attentive. The hotel foyer, breakfast area and our room was very clean and tidy and our room was made up nicely each day. The hotel has a supermarket a very short walk from it (within 50 metres of the end of the driveway). We didn’t like the fact that the advertising on Expedia and the hotels own online directory states that there was a Western restaurant on site but we were told upon enquiry that this had been closed for 2 years. "We loved the resort! It was beautiful and the beach was stunning. The staff was wonderful! Especially Chan Ny. He was very attentive and accommodating for us. We did have one safety issue/ concern with an unwanted guest on the property. The staff took care of this immediately and after the one issue- it was not a problem again. The only recommendation that I would have is to enclose the gyn so that there are no mosquitos (it was swarming every day) and so that the air conditioner works. The air conditioner was running every day, but because the gym is not kept enclosed, it did not work very well and I am sure it was expensive to the resort. They are working on expanding and building at the moment, but it never did disrupt our vacation and it was great to see that this place is doing well. I would definitely return! "
