"Nice hotel if stopping over in Waterford for a few days. 10 minute walk to town centre. Rooms modern and comfortable. Only issue was the cigarette smell in the room, despite it saying it was a no smoking room. Breakfast was extra, so had that in town at a cafe. "

"Kilkenny Hotel is a great hotel. Our room was very nice and quite spacious. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff were very welcoming and friendly. Not a criticism but just a comment, the gentleman that checked us in was very professional and efficient but not friendly. He’s the only person not to have a welcoming smile and kind words. "

"The staff at the hotel were great, really kind & helpful. The room very big, had everything we needed in it. However the bathroom was very rundown, felt dirty. Lots of old shower products on the tiles, hair in the bath. I asked for it to be cleaned again, however it still felt old and dirty after the second clean. Location of the hotel was great, right in the centre of town but not noisy. Parking across the road was handy, it’s cheaper to pay the carpark directly than pay via the hotel....
