"Easy access via Bus 25 from Hbf, up 3 stops to Schroederplatz, and then Motel One is right there and also very close to the Kropeliner Tor and the main shopping district and old town. Although my room directly faced towards the Christmas markets and the children’s rides across the street, I barely heard the noise from my room. Breakfast buffet was fairly standard, no complaints. I do wish there was a coffee/tea maker in my room; however. Overall, good value and location."

Allerdings ist man wirklich auf ein Auto angewiesen, denn im nahen Ortskern gibt es außer ein paar, bei uns leider geschlossenen Geschäften nichts nennenswertes. Außerhalb der Saison ist es außerdem schwierig, Aktivitäten im näheren Umkreis zu finden. Da hilft natürlich das inkludierte Schwimmbad, das allerdings auch oft zu gut besucht ist. "THe hotel and grounds are amazing, the best spa I have been too - the outdoor pool at night was the highlight. The guy playing the piano in the bar was also a nice touch. "

"Location hidden in ugly industrial zone and close to highway. Windows dirty and not sound proof. Waited 45 min to be checked in. Mold in showers, smelly carpet and toilet. Dumpster next to main entrance also spreading terrible smell. Employees friendly trying their very best. They changed brand Aug 1 from Ibis to B&B."

"A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" Which is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern idea of sense of humour, maybe."

"The hotel's location is probably one of the best in whole Rostock. The view of the city is excellent. It's also in a walkable distance of the eastern part of the city (for example Petrikirche). The rooms looked nice and clean. The service at the reception was friendly and very helpful. What I did not like were the rather uncomfortable beds. I was disappointed by the breakfast, the fruits seemed cut already the day before and didn't look fresh. There was an overall good selection but not...

"Perfect for staying by the Inselsee for a couple of days. Beautiful location by the lake. Maybe better to come with a car, but 15 min walk there are occasional buses to train station also. Bike rental nearby. Service superb and friendly. Nice buffet breakfast. With such bargain price really worth to go for. "
