We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. "Good place for a 2 night stay. Single beds were very narrow for an adult. No towels or tea towels which would have been good. Service from the owner was brilliant...she is a very nice lady. It was a shame that the pub/restaurant has closed as you have to go in to Berwick for food. "
