"This hotel is a hidden gem! I don't think you can get better conditions (swimming pool, saunas, steam room, lovely breakfast) and frendlier staff for the price. It's true that the furniture and decor are a little old-fashioned, but everything is sparkling clean, beds are comfortable, and rooms have huge balconies as well. I plan to come again, and again :) totally recommend! "

I arrived at the hotel prior to the stated check-in time, however was surprised to find that there was no receptionist and the hotel was completely closed. "Nice place with friendly staff. The lack of AC on hot days was only mitigated by a fan. The parking was difficult , but they were very accommodating for an old driver with the best spot. The nature around and the lake are spectacular and I highly recommend it for a vacation. "

"Heavy bedding even though summer. Room windows had been left open by staff during day and lot of little flying insects (mozzies) had got in when returned to room at night. Tea/coffee facilities, fridge and some bathroom shampoos and soaps would have been nice for such a high rated hotel. Staff pleasant enough on checkin. "

"A very nice hotel, stunning unspoilt views of the lake. Quick check in and check out with a personable service. My only negative was that for such a luxurious hotel, there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, this is such an out dated practice and definitely dampens the experience when you can’t make a drink to enjoy on your balcony.
