"This is a solid choice if you are in the area. The hotel isn't cutting edge and your rooms will feel dated with few amenities but there isn't anything "wrong" with any part of the hotel. Everyone has their own preferences, admittedly. Personally, I found the bed to be uncomfortable and when I woke up in the morning I felt like I wasn't well-rested. I know that it is common in German bathrooms to have a tiny partition on the shower that barely blocks water from the shower head. I think this is an...

"You literally are in heart center….plenty of choices for dining and beautiful walks along the Fulda River. I was lucky to have the Christmas Market too! Very spacious and comfortable too!"

"We got spectacular winter weather, so the view and balcony were quite wonderful. Reception was particularly welcoming and helpful with our special requests and even managed to sort out a spa treatment at the last minute. I had the small but well-appointed spa/sauna area all to myself, fun and relaxing. Oddly, the room amenities were spare: one liquid soap/shampoo combo product was it, had to rent(!) a spa robe. But the low-season price, included breakfast, spa with treatments, and gorgeous area...
