"The building and the grounds were beautiful. The decor was for us very old fashioned. A matter of opinion I’m sure and probably very French but the old pictures and stuffed animals were slightly too much. Having said that the restaurant was lovely as was the breakfast. We arrived very late and a very kind gentleman, stayed on to check us in. I’m sure in the summer months when the sun is shining and the pool is open it would be even more beautiful."

"It's amazing how only two people (husband and wife - they run this place) can make you feel welcome and like you come to the house of loving friends or relatives! They greet us with the smile, showed to our rooms and offered us dinner even it was 10 pm. When was last time you had such a service!?? Can't not to mention the dinner that was cooked by husband - simply amazing! This place shows you all the best you want in hospitality. Highly recommended, we’ll be back! "

"This hotel is a short walk from downtown Sarlat. Street parking was near-by and easy to find. Our room was a Standard but was luxuriously enormous with great amenities, and a very comfy bed. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, even going to far as to ship back an item I'd left in the room. "

"This property was charming and the staff were all so friendly and attentive! Room was spacious and I do love how the French separate the toilet from the bedroom and shower room! I just wish the tv had more English channels but we did not come there to watch TV anyway! And the hotel was walking distance to small shops and other restaurants. I would definitely stay here again! I had to find another hotel in Les Eyzies and pay 70 euros for a taxi to get there. "
