"We had a great one night at Sprowston Manor, the room was nice and the restaurant catered well.for my wife who is Celiac. Just a couple of negatives , the heating in the room (137) was making a banging noice which kept us awake until 3am and the room types don't macth what you book. I booked a superior double room and got a executive double, not sure of the differences but it was a nice room."

"Dunston Hall was a beautiful stay. Friendly staff (especially Sally at the front desk), comfortable beds and quiet. I love historic hotels, so this definitely fit the bill. Would definitely stay here again!"

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle.
