"The room we were given was horribly outdated - purple shag rug, beat up sectional sofa that seemed pretty dirty, dirty chairs, and a strange smell that caused us to keep the windows open even though it was quite chilly outside just to air it out a little. "The staff at Reception were super but there was a problem with the Health Centre staff. The infotmation about hours when the pool was available to hotel guests was wrong and we missed out on a swim on our first day as a result. We ate the evening buffet which was good and very good value. Its close to the forest - good for walkers and cyclists but otherwise you need a car."

"Das ganze ist eher eine Unterkunft, als wie ein Hotel. Hätte das niemals gebucht, wenn ich im Vorfeld gewusst hätte, daß diese Unterkunft eher 2 als wie 4 Sterne verdient hat. Das angebliche Frühstücksbuffet, ist eine Lachnummer. Zum Beispiel, die Brötchen sind eingefrorene, selbst aufgebacken, Körnerbrötchen waren immer schnellvergriffen. Brot lagen paar Scheiben daneben. Die einzige Bedienung war sehr nett und bemüht, aber bei den vielen Räumen natürlich total überfordert. In unserem Zimmer...

"I found Eisenach out of a guide book, and this hotel from Hotels.com. It is close enough to everything, but far enough off the main square to be quiet. It's mostly residential, so I'd suggest breakfast AT the hotel (which is great) - there are no quaint coffee/ breakfast places within a couple blocks. The property has many rooms, including meeting rooms (if you need any), and is accustomed to accommodating groups. I was very pleased w the stay, and with my visit to Eisenach. "
