"Positive : Room was big and bathrooms are good . House keeping was done everyday . Negative : Swimming pool water was clean but surrounded by so many bugs and lizards . It was not convenient to swim in it . Breakfast was not very fresh . We were also asked to pay for swim towels which was very odd. Room carpet was not clean . "

The rooms were large and an immaculate clean and everything was top-notch. Breakfast in the morning is great bar in the evening one of the best in town. 10 minute walk to great restaurants and people areas or short taxi ride to the old town. Can’t say enough about this place. "

But then once seeing the room - dirty and stuffy, we weren’t too happy anymore. Food is a buffet, so expectations weren’t high to begin with. It is self served, including beverages. The hotel will provide you a “taxi” company business card and they charge you double what the the local taxi cabs will but won’t tell you anything about how to get a hold of...

"This is a harder review to make in my 71-country visits. Arriving at the hotel, I was buzzed-in to the property's foyer only to discover I would need to use the lift to go one floor up to reception. I was happily-greeted by two very pleasant reception staff who expedited my check-in & took me to my room, showing each area. "Arrived at the hotel for a wedding celebration only to be informed that our room has been mistakenly allocated to another party. Was allocated a suite for one night and given two rooms for the next night. Breakfast was ok, staff was friendly. Lack of amenities (iron only available on request, was informed only 3 irons in the hotel) no ironing board, had to use the bed. Some rooms had complementary guest slippers, so I had to go around to ask other wedding guest if I could use there’s ( none...
