"I had a wonderful stay at this property! It’s a beautiful house and the staff keeps it absolutely clean. I love the Italian floor tiles. Gloria was a good host. Lianet the manager was excellent in communication and she speaks excellent English! Her tips about Havana were very helpful. Aleena and Daimara took excellent care of us. The breakfast was good but really expensive. There is an Ocean front area with nice restaurants just a couple of miles away. The center of Havana was about 15 minutes by Taxi. I highly recommend this place "

From helping with organizing tours, solving unexpected tourist needs, communication, attentiveness, and providing basic human warmth, which is something our world has forgotten! "Christian, the manager, was delightful and went above and beyond to be helpful throughout our stay. His English was very good and he was very thoughtful A qualified doctor, he also aided my daughter with sunburn and tummy trouble. The hotel has a lovely courtyard where delicious breakfasts are served. We had the double height, triple room at the front of the property which was a beautiful characterful room however the only window opened out straight on to the street which meant a lot of noise and no privacy so recommend any of the other rooms would be preferrable"

"Our stay in this Hostal was memorable, and their staff made our stay in Havana and our whole trip in Cuba a great experience We were warried about the effect of the US economic Blockade against Cuba on local transport and accommodation, so we just booked our first hotel, based on reviews. The Blockade has certainly damaged Cuba, but it remains a beautiful country. We have to say that we were able to organise the rest our trip, from Havana all the way to Santiago de Cuba and back, thanks to the support from the staff at Hostal Colonial De Luca. Particularly from Diamela - who is knowledgeable, very skilled and really supportive and friendly. The Hostal is very good, with very clean very large rooms. The area is very interesting with some excellent restaurants nearby. Visiting Cuba has been a really amazing experience. Muchas gracias"
