"Easy check in. We had parked elsewhere as underground carpark appeared closed but apparently you have to get a code from reception to use their carpark. Breakfast very good indeed. Lady serving breakfast is excellent at her job. Would stay again. Room 5 was quiet, could do with a lick of paint but very clean. "

"The hotel is very conveniently located within easy walking distance of the station. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the portions very large. The room was comfortable and the furnishing simple. The bed was quite soft for our taste. "

"We only spent one night here but our room was warm, comfortable and spacious. There was a good choice for breakfast and the staff were all friendly. We would definitely stay again and felt it was great value for the standard. We stayed in a courtyard room but the outside was not really in use at this time of year so cannot comment on any noise"

"For an Inn, the George Inn has blown my mind away from having that welcoming customer services to the comfortable, peaceful, luxurious stay overnight. I wished that I booked for a few days as the location was convenient to all attractions in the area. To top up off, the price is just attractive for a last-minute booking."

"Stayed in one of the family rooms in the separate building - a bunk bed downstairs and queen upstairs with en-suite. Room was clean, well-appointed and worked well to get the kids to sleep allowing adults to relax upstairs. Room service menu and quality of food were excellent. Spa and internal and external pool were great, but strict kids hours in the internal pool meant we actually had to swim/play in sub zero temperatures - which was not ideal and quite rude. "From check in to check out and breakfast, was greated with a smile and friendly attitude. Staff where great, beds comfy and breakfast shakshuka and amoothie where delicious!! Amanda and Natalie made breakfast emjoyable and a smile in the morning. 10/10 would recomend this pieceful pub stay in the countryside."
