"Der Heiderhof is a very classy hotel. Well appointed, beautifully decorated and a very helpful staff. The spa and work-out room were wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. There is not much to do in the immediate area but it is only 10 minutes to the city center and perhaps 20 minutes to all the outdoor activities of the AltMuhl nature preserve. My one disappointment was the bed. It was very hard, the pillow too flat, and the comforter too thick for a summer evening. I did not sleep well...

"The property is lovely, but it is located in a very quiet industrial area with limited dining options, although it is close to the autobahn. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The evening food in the hotel is limited to pizza and a cheese platter board, which are very nice. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and modern, with great bathrooms. However, the TV has no English channels."

"First our bathtub was clogged and each day we showered in more the 6-8” of water. At one point there was hair (not mine or my husbands) backing up into the water. Second, the shower door that was installed had a broken rubber strip on the bottom of the door. So every time we showered it left over an inch of on the floor. How it was not flooding the downstairs unit I have no idea. Third, our safe wouldnt unlock. Fourth, our room shared a wall with the sauna, the heat in our room was almost...
