"Definitely worth a visit.! The Brewhouse cottage was cosy but perfectly formed. The attention to details made it feel so luxurious . G&Ts on the table waiting along side some brownies and shortbread treats! Not to mention treats for our dog ! Beautifully presented lovely breakfasts and evening meals. Thoroughly recommend staying. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, ready to help in any way they could. "

"I have stayed in many places and I can safely say this was one of my top three! Cozy clean super comfortable the surrounding ( the village) quaint and gorgeous friendly bar downstairs gave first drink on the house for guests the breakfast was delicious and homemade wonderful service bed unbelievably comfortable I could move in ! Honestly I wish I could give it 100 stars and more ! We will go back for sure … Christmas lights( sweet and tasteful) were a bonus as were the homemade eco friendly...

"We stayed here for two nights. The accommodation was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. Jude and Karl were both welcoming and nothing was too much trouble."

"Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "

The new management team kindly allowed us to stay at no extra cost. I have contacted hotels.com regarding this and hope they will make sure that this hotel is given as much help as possible.
