The garden areas in the lodge where we were staying were largely overgown and uncared for which was a shame. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was fantastic and had everything you need, tea, coffee, shower & my room also had a bath.Plenty of parking directly outside your room. "The Marquis has just completed renovations, and while there were a few teething problems, the staff was wonderful. They could not have done more to make our stay wonderful. Special shout out to David, Ryann, Lucy, Emma, Kate, Annabelle, Carmin, and everyone else we came in contact with, all were wonderful. The spa and pool were not even mentioned as they just opened, the facility is one of the best we ever visited, again with the staff to match. We are looking forward to our next stay."
