"Our stay at Golden Tulip Marseille was good overall. Our check in didn't go well, took over an hour to get a satisfactory rooms. We were getting adjoining rooms, the first two sets we got, one room would smell ok while the other would have an unpleasant smell. The third set of rooms we got were much better. The staff were very friendly and helpful, part of what took so long is they had to have their maintenance man go check the rooms to make sure they did smell. Having taken over an hour to get...

"Great Mercure hotel, room was large enough for our 3 night stay. Staff super friendly and helpful. You can walk to all the restaurants at the port and Galleries Layfette and shopping centre attached to hotel. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Great location. The hospitality was very good. The staff spoke English and was accommodating. The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean; it is also modern. I slept comfortably. It was walkable to restaurants, the shopping center, and the movie theater. The tram station is close by. I would recommend it. "

"It was xmas Eve and Francoise was going out of the way to get me a luggage cart , set my room , correct the how to get there , suggested kitchen bar closes and his bar manager made me a great hot pizza , asked me if I wanted a glass for the coke . Shuttle offered and instructed . "This hotel is a great choice for a short stay! The staff were very friendly, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. However, there are a few areas for improvement, such as upgrading to a smart TV, adding fans to the bathroom and providing coffee pods in the rooms.
