The Expedia website lists the Gamston lock as 0.19 Miles from the City ground, (which is why i booked it for the Football and being close) However reality is that it is located 3.8 miles away. not sure if this is Gamston lock capitalising on match day traffic or an expedia anomoly, just be aware. "Really lovely hotel. My partner and I decided to come to Nottingham for a spontaneous night away and booked this hotel because it was walking distance from a lot of restaurants and the city centre. As expected, the hotel doesn’t have parking but it’s only round the corner from the lace market car park which is fine. The only thing that let it down was that the room was really hot even when turning the heating all the way down to cool and you couldn’t open the windows. But otherwise, lovely hotel...

"The experience we had was very positive. The man on reception was very efficient and friendly. He was extremely helpful and kept our luggage and did the check in for us as we arrived early and wouldn't be back till later. The room had everything we needed very clean a good size and the shower powerful. The breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. All the staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
