"This Quinta exceeded our expectations. It is situated in a rural and beautiful area. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. There’s also a much larger town not too far from the Quinta, called Penafiel. The villa where we stayed had a breathtaking view of both the vineyard and river. "The hotel is old style it must of been beautiful when it was new the amenities are ok but not great, the thermal is down the street and a new spa across the river. Roads are narrow and very windy, parking at the hotel are to small and hard to figure out where to drive in at. Rooms were large but not well arranged like I said old style"
