"Absolutely amazing , stunning location, hotel was so beautiful, photos don’t do it justice ! Breakfast was lovely , all that was missing was some extra pillows and tea making facilities in the room, had a nespresso machine in the room which was amazing for me but my husband only drinks tea. Can’t wait to go back! "

A special mention for excellent service goes to Tanya in reception and Ioannis from the wait staff. Nothing was too much trouble. "Overall a very nice hotel. As mentioned elsewhere rooms though a good size are somewhat dated. The bathroom in my deluxe room was very 90’s…I wouldn’t normally expect a shower in a bath for an upgrade room, The Spa is the stand out feature of this hotel. Beautiful views of the mountains…particularly at dusk. Very relaxing. The hotel is very much a family hotel. I personally found the dinner options very limited…4 mains and one desert option. Against the backdrop of the Tyrolean mountains and the quaint village of Zirl, this hotel is a must if you’re in the area. Plus, the in-house restaurant, Restaurant Maximilian, was absolutely exquisite—Try the beef tartare, treat yourself! "
