" Beautiful hotel, all rooms are facing the coast. Swimming pool with warm sea water is excellent. Parking is little bit outside of the hotel and might not have enough space. Walking distance to both Portoroz and Piran. The only complaint is no air conditioning in October. It is still warm during the day. Open windows work at night. "

Bad The AC in the rooms is poor - we changed rooms twice and the lowest it would go to (after many hours) was 24 deg C. Sweaty sleeping. "First the positive: this is a fine hotel with nice facilities and nice beach access within walking distance of Novigrad center. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Good spa / gym. The staff really try to be helpful - and they were helpful with several requests. Now the negative - our room was dirty when we arrived - there was a dried blood spot on one duvet cover, there were hairs in the bathroom and an old bar of soap still in the shower. The hairs in the bathroom I noticed when I arrived but...

"Great location on the ocean! Best rooms are the balconies overlooking the water. Breakfast in the morning had great variety. "

"Das Hotel ist in einem super schönen Zustand und sehr sauber. Leider sind die Betten sehr hart im Zimmer und das Essen ist leider eine Katastrophe für ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Es gibt Buffet, aber das ist ganz spartanisch angerichtet und hat irgendwie null Geschmack, auch der Kaffee aus der Maschine ist grauenvoll (wir haben jeden Tag einen Frühstückskaffee bei der Hotelbar getrunken, der war sehr lecker). Bis aufs Essen und den harten Betten, war es trotzdem ein schöner Aufenthalt. "

"Had city facing room, which actually had a partial sea view. Nice hotel, a little dated with darker wood finish but good size room with tall windows. Bed comfortable, safe provided, fridge but no tea/coffee making facility. Good breakfast. Hotel is about a 15 min walk from bus station. We were there towards end of season so hotel quiet on check in but got a little busier. Enjoyed stay."
