"Modern Luxury Hotel is conveniently located close to the board walk overlooking the sea. I enjoyed walking to the Aristotle Square and from there towards the White Castle and the Archeological Museum. As for the hotel, the room was quaint. I was by myself so I didn't need much. I appreciated the breakfast buffet with various choices including Greek pastries. It starts the day off right. "This hotel is centrally located for a great many of the ancient ruins in Tessaloniki. We walked everywhere to the waterfront, the roman forum and into the small markets. Great food nearby and really cheep. Plus their free breakfast is wonderful! Wait until you see the honey dispenser."

"Area looks sketchy, but isn’t. I felt extremely safe walking about even at night as a solo woman. Great dining options a short walk away. Buses easily accessible within a short walk, too. Hotel is nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Bed was a bit too firm for my liking, but I’ve yet to find one in Europe that I really liked. Staff were very nice and very helpful. Be aware nothing but restaurants are open on Sundays. No tours, no shopping. "
