"I liked the modern bedroom design, comfortable beds and garden view. The swimming pool was very nice and the restaurant was good. The location is great with a bus stop to Edinburgh across the road . Parking was good and the location near the motorways makes it good for exploring other parts of Scotland. "

"Satisfactory stay and very content overall. The room (deluxe double) was adequate and decent. One of the particular standout features was Elemis toiletries throughout the hotel - this is such a small, but fantastic touch and a noticeable feature. The gym and spa also a highlight of the hotel and very much enjoyed using those facilities. Had an initial look round shortly after arriving - it was a bit busy so went back later on in the evening and it was much quieter, perfect! Only little niggle I experienced was with the shaving kit- it was pleasantly provided in an Elemis box but the razor itself was useless! The shave kit needs sorting out because it's not fit for purpose. This was the only downside to my stay as the crap razor - which surely couldn't have been manufactured by Elemis despite the box it was in - trebled my usual shave time which was annoying and a bit of an inconvenience. Apart from that, full marks all round- the staff were also friendly, upbeat and energetic on any interaction and very quick to take care of requests, which is excellent. Would recommend and will return at some point. "
