"this was our second lenghty stay at the Majoren. August 2023 was the first. As was the case last August, we again enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's a nice boutique hotel very close to the train station and central square as well as the university. The station (trains and buses) is a 10 minute walk away. "Super cool Hotel, its an old prison. very clean, very good breakfast, super confy beds. the doors are extreemly small since its the original doors for the prison cells. The staits in the middel of the hotel is low so you can hit your head. Rooms have very high celings. very comfy, cool history, great location."

"We stayed in Mjolby because the price of rooms on the lake were extortionate. I would highly recommend those looking to stay on the lake to stay at this hotel a few miles inland in Mjolby because it was very good! A lot cheaper and great service and rooms. We ate at the hotel.
