"We arrived here very late so only had a short experience but it was great. The room was very comfy and a decent size and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was the best we had on our Norway trip. Really varied and tasty with an amazing view of the mountains. We didn't get time to use the spa or other facilities but it was very convenient for heading up to Gaustatoppen."

"One of Kongsbergs older properties but maintained and run perfectly with a first class breakfast, welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. Only hiccup was having to pay Expedia and the hotel due to an unresolved booking issue. I’m sure Expedia will refund me. Very good option for Kongsberg and could not be closer to the reliable rail service. "

"Kim (proprietor) was a most gracious host and a great help to us during our stay. The accommodations were comfortable and unique. The food was 5 star. We had dinner 3 nights and each were exceptional! Breakfast (included with our stay) was delicious and started our day off right.
