"Great place on short notice. The bathroom area was bizarre. There was no wall separating the shower nor toilet from the room. If you wanted to use those facilities the others needed to leave the room altogether or “look the other way”. Awkward."

"Charming hotel, and has a nice view from the top hill looking down. No issues staying and my room came w/ a balcony which was a big perk. Staff members are friendly and the morning breakfast was quite good. It was a hot day in Steyr reaching near 27-29c, and the room stayed warm till evening. "Extremely recommendable hotel. By any standard, this hotel is excellent. I was specially impressed with the room quality and size. All new, high quality in-room amenities worthy of a 5 star hotel world wide. Of course, cleanliness is perfect. Service is ok for a small hotel and no complains. Breakfast is very good. I arrived at the hotel prior to the stated check-in time, however was surprised to find that there was no receptionist and the hotel was completely closed. "Arrived to a sign in reception saying it is not manned and to ring the bell. Someone came after a short wait and booked me in. "Heavy bedding even though summer. Room windows had been left open by staff during day and lot of little flying insects (mozzies) had got in when returned to room at night. Tea/coffee facilities, fridge and some bathroom shampoos and soaps would have been nice for such a high rated hotel. Staff pleasant enough on checkin. "
