"Great location, right by the Salzburg train & bus station. This was only a short bus ride into the ‘old town’. Area around hotel felt safe. Rooms are in need of refurbishment but still quite adequate. Bath room needs improvement as shower is within the bath & could be an issue for some people to use. Otherwise, I loved it and would stay again. "

"Gerl Hotel is a place not only to sleep while travelling but to spend time in the hotel as well. It has a great resturant and the breakfast was very tasty with a wide variety of dishes. Shame the main spa (which is spectacular) opens only at 11:00 and closes at 20:00. "

"The room was very nice and convenient for all three of us. Great location. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. Also was a quick walk to our rental car we drove to Hallstatt. Breakfast was good as well."

"This Hotel is wonderful from the views to the great staff and wonderful service and the rooms are very clean. It’s 20 mins away from Salzburg and 50mins away from Hallstatt so you can get to both and the restaurant was great definitely recommend this hotel."

"Pros: Good location, easy check-in/out, good breakfast, elevator, quiet room, very comfortable bed. Cons: room was smelly when I entered, had to leave windows open for few good minutes until it was too cold Quite disappointing - no water cattle in the room. This is pretty standard in all other hotels I stayed in Salzburg (over 10 I think). Shower is good, but there is no glass door or curtain, so water are all over if you are not careful.
