Natalia and Bill are amazing and welcoming hosts, they were going an extra mile to make our stay great - with cute chocolate gifts, home made cookies, extra attention to detail and their warm attitude. The breakfast was tasty and the horse barn on the territory is a fun entertainment, especially if you’re coming for the city and don’t see nature that often. We definitely highly recommend!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. "Property is older which is fine, but there were some deferred maintenance with the ceiling and leaking wall in the bedroom. Expect to do your own dishes and wash your own linens at checkout. Dishes from previous guest were still in dishwasher. Spiderwebs on ceiling fan and living room light fixture. "

"Great place to stay in Carlisle. The owners are friendly and inviting. Becky is a great cook, the breakfasts were excellent. The home is quiet, beautifully furnished and restored. A fantastic place to stay. I will be back next year."
