If you don’t mind walking about 10-15 minutes, you can get to some of the main streets with lots of shopping and restaurants, and even to the main plaza (Hauptplatz). No on-site staff, but responsive to emails. Minor issues: There’s a washer in the room (with no instructions for its use), but no dryer. Staff members are friendly and the morning breakfast was quite good. It was a hot day in Steyr reaching near 27-29c, and the room stayed warm till evening. "Extremely recommendable hotel. By any standard, this hotel is excellent. I was specially impressed with the room quality and size. All new, high quality in-room amenities worthy of a 5 star hotel world wide. Of course, cleanliness is perfect. Service is ok for a small hotel and no complains. Breakfast is very good.
