"Hotel Recour was without a doubt the best place we stayed the entire time we were in Europe. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, breakfast was a wonderful spread and the location cannot be beat. And that's not even mentioning the absolutely beautiful room with a large bath that was very welcome after the trek out to Poperinge!"

(As confirmed on the booking documentation) when arriving they said it would be another £50 per child and there had been a system mistake… I don’t...

"This Property has great character and is is good order, we would say the only negative to our room was that the bedroom was upstairs whilst the bathroom was downstairs, only a slight problem if you need to go during the night. Otherwise, a great propert."

"We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived even though the owners had not realized we had booked. They did their best to get the room ready quickly. They provided us with an evening meal and a complimentary drink. The guesthouse is lovely and very freshly modern. Breakfast was great and had a lovely selection of foods. The room was very warm, however, even with windows open. Noise from the road traffic may put off light sleepers but this is not the fault of the owners."
