"We had come to Klagenfurt for a parkrun and had no idea what to expect. The hotel was currently changing brands so we dropped bags off as one chain but checked in as a different hotel chain. Although there was some teething issues with the brand change, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Plus kept it personalised but professional. "Great location near the train station. Ample parking if you need to park a car. Housekeeping kept the room clean daily. Bed was too soft, not good for my back. Aircon didn’t work properly when I was there."

"Great hotel with unique exterior decoration. Rooms are large and functional and there is a free car park adjacent to the hotel. Breakfast was very good and only 2 minute walk into main town. Used the hotel so we could attend a concert in Klagenfurt only 15 miles away."

"Our stay at the Gasthof zur Post was all we could have hoped for. The Kramer family and their staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of fresh food on offer at the buffet with the option of freshly cooked items too. We only ate at the hotel on one evening but the food was very good - plenty of choices. Rooms clean and spacious. We didn't use the spa facilities because we were visiting family in the area and time was short but certainly would if we stay...

"Netter Empfang, tolles Appartement. Das Sofabett auch für 2 große Jugendliche ausreichend und bequem. Frühstückseier können selbst von den Hühern geholt werden und auch das Hochbeet mit Kräutern und Tomaten, etc. steht zur allgemeinen Verfügung. Das schöne Strandbad ist in Gehweite (mit eigenem Bollerwagen pro Appartement). Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt, sehr zu empfehlen! "

"Very nice resort! Excellent breakfast!! Room was clean and nice except there was no air conditioning and no screen on the French door. The door had to be kept open 24/7 for air, which let in neighbor's smoke and bugs!! Would go back to the new section of the resort."

Staff were welcoming and location great

Although there was some teething issues with the brand change, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Plus kept it personalised but professional. Hotel was perfect location and value for money this was a great option. Totally recommend to anyone visiting klagenfurt. The roof top bar was also worth popping up to watch sunset. Thank you to all the staff"
