"This was the perfect hotel for our stay in Athens. The views from the room and at breakfast were incredible. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Perfectly located for the Metro and the hop on hop off bus – the stops were just outside the hotel. There was a short walk to the centre or you could just get the Metro (€1.20 for a 90 minute ride). "Really don't agree with this hotel having a 4 star rating. Not sure how they even got that. The room is nice but a very cold stark design. Even my 13yo son mentioned that the room seemed cold and stark. The hallways are like you're in a bad office building. Stark white walls with bad cheap carpet. Breakfast was ok. Never a doorman or porter to help open the door or assist with anything. I saw a guy one night who sat in a chair staring at his phone. Back two hrs later, he's in the same spot....
