"There's a reason I have stayed here 3 times and hope to return many more in the future. I just love this Chateau. The building is so stately and gorgeous without being pompous. "Hotel Recour was without a doubt the best place we stayed the entire time we were in Europe. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, breakfast was a wonderful spread and the location cannot be beat. "AVOID. The place is disgusting. They over charged us/ripped us off. The area smells of poo (as it’s in a farm). The pool is green/mouldy. The receptionist had the worst most acrid body odour I’ve ever smelt. We were shown a smelly, small dark room (which we declined) We were going to stay at first having booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children.
