Sticky marks on tables, bedside tables, yellow stains around sink/bath taps, the chairs, carpets in room were in need of replacement, carpets and wall paper in ground corridors need to be updated too. "Excellent value for money. We stayed over to break up a longer journey north. Conveniently located just off the main route. We enjoyed the riverside walk with access close to the hotel. The evening meal was good and we particularly enjoyed the cooked breakfast the following morning. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Special thanks to the staff who were all very pleasant and friendly.Will definitely stay again when travelling this way."

"Beautiful secluded location. Good spa and gym facilities. We stayed in a self catering lodge, which was spacious and well equipped with excellent views of the loch. Food at the restaurant was nothing special and limited choice. Areas of the property could do with some maintenance, including lighting, overflowing drains, flooded paths. Hotel staff were not the most friendly or efficient, but got the job done- we weren’t even asked if we enjoyed our stay…"

"Overall it was a lovely property. Quiet, clean, very comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating and made us some fridge space. It would have been nice to be instructed a bit more regarding use of outdoor space. There was a key in the door leading to outside, and the door was very difficult to open and would lock on us if closed. Breakfast was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again but would ask more questions at check in!"
