"I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. The hotel and grounds, staff, room, restaurant, etc...were all excellent. I had a river view balcony room, which was the perfect spot to relax. The restaurant, Tara, had amazing food and a very nice waiter, Tay. I enjoyed every moment at this hotel."

While the property is showing signs of age, the lobby and restaurant are well-kept and quite impressive. It's on the upper floors where the building’s age is more noticeable. The room itself was spacious and well-maintained, though there was some mold in the shower. As for the location, it’s not ideal—there’s not much around. "Grand Vista is away from downtown on a busy road, although the traffic noise wasn’t apparent in our room or at the pool. There’s a large modern mall across the highway, accessed by a foot bridge, with food courts, restaurants, grocery store and shops. The old city is a short Grab ride away. Our room was large, clean and serviced daily. A very enjoyable staff."
