"We booked two “deluxe rooms with city views” around two months in advance and a couple of days before we arrived the hotel said they could not accommodate us and moved us to another hotel with the most basic rooms and no views. Do not stay here."

"One has to judge things through the lense of Macedonia where in general hotels can be a bit eccentric. but this one is more eccentric than most. Positives are superb location right next to the old town, and huge rooms with great views and the awesome roof bar/terrace. Downsides are fading 80s style and no way this can be described as a 5 star service. Having said that most of the staff were friendly (mention to the good staff at the bar). Nice breakfast. "Interesting small hotel with Winery and shooting range on site. Rooms very clean and air con good. Food very good and interesting meat and game dishes. No ironing boards in room unless requested and I only had one plug socket, but other than that a nice stay. Be aware it is not central though, so taxi / drive needed into Skopje."
