"Housekeeping was brilliant but minor things let the hotel down slightly. Namely one reading light not working,only one light working in the bathroom and tv remote not working after the first night. All things that could have been reported but as we were only there for three nights and extremely busy during the day these things were relatively unimportant and didn’t impact on our enjoyment in the slightest. Would definitely stay there again."

"The above speaks for itself. The breakfast was excellent. One minor criticism- the website says free parking, but that is very much dependent on the time of day and the number of cars trying to park in a small and crowded area."

"Nice hotel. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. There were a view issues with the service, but management sorted them out quickly. Food portion on small side for a man’s appetite. "

"Cam was amazing and made me feel very welcome. The room is for 1 or a couple and had everything you need. The is no restaurant but the Nags head was a 5 min walk away. Breakfast was very relaxing and delicious. Bow the new poodle was adorable and very entertaining. "

"Good acomodation booked in with the new property owner Kurt, we were the second transaction made on his hotel account, chap by the bar beat us to no 1 position by a matter of minutes, Kurt had recently bought the Castle Hotel friday the 1st of September was his first day so basically hit the road running! He explained theres going to be big changes / improvements over the coming months so watch the space, as a New Zealander the bar area is going to be a sport bar area with some great rugby...

"Booked for a week on business, has everything you need, the only thing that it didn't have that would have been nice is a desk fan. Would definitely stay again next time. "
