"Really great stay at Melia Purosani. Well trained staff were polite and hotel had everything we needed. Clean room with two good restaurants and a very nice pool. Walking distance to the main shopping street and the sultan's palace. Concierge helped with restaurant reservations and day trips. Very nice stay."

"It is a horrible hotel. Towel very old, bed sheet old and not clean well, the room no window, noisy from other room customers and the worst is toilet. This hotel made me feel like staying in "slum" but the price same as i paid 3 stars hotel in Surabaya. I didn't understand why this hotel can get 3 stars? I prefer to pay more for other hotel if know before, the pictures are just too looking good!"

"I booked this hotel based on Expedia reviews but when I was actually staying there I was absolutely disappointed. The room looked clean but there was dirt on the walls. The bathroom tiles and sink were yellow. The worst was the incessant crowing of a cockerel throughout the day and night as the hotel was located next to a house which kept chickens! "Probably the worst place I have ever stayed. So unhygienic. Mound everywhere in the bathroom.. stained bedsheets. There was nothing good about the facilities here. The only benefit is that it was a 24/7 reception. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to every stay here. "
