"The room was clean but there was no attention to detail ( corners, dust under bed, etc), after all that's what distinguishes establishments from one another. The bathroom was always wet due to the shower design construction. No night light for kids to visit at night the bathroom. The whole room had to be lit like new years or use mobile flashlight. This is family orientated hotel/resort. Small things and attention to details are what make a champion and hotel was laking of this. Not adequate...

"A beautiful hotel by Lake ziegelsee. The hotel had their own boat dock. The view from our room was of the lake. The was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly, and check in was quick. "Staff are very friendly and like a chat. Ample rooms at ground level. Unfortunately, despite roller blinds, the train line that passes right outside the front of the hotel kept me up to the wee hours and then again from dawn. Doesn't help if you like to sleep with open window. I didn't, eventhough the small and stuffy room was a bit claustrophobic with the blinds down. Shower doors on rusty tracks. Breakfast is okay, the breakfast room quite nice with a lovely winter garden."
