"The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because the loud music that was playing outside on the nearby restaurant terrace. It only stoped at 3:00 am in the morning. Unacceptable. I understand that it’s not the hotel’s fault but something must be done about changing municipalities regulations. Thank you for otherwise a great stay! "

"This place was very frustrating - a combo of great things and really mediocre things which should not be taking place at a hotel this pricey, and which styles itself as a luxurious boutique hotel. On the plus side - nice staff, great beds, quiet building and environment, beautiful and distinct building, with lots of character. The not-so-good things - the breakfast, while plentiful, was clearly re-using food from previous days, like bread rolls, chia puddings, bananas (they kept getting darker...

"I’ve stayed here at least 3 times. It is great value. The area around within walking distance is superb. I’ll definitely keep on staying here if the value remains competitive. "

"You must expect a dated (but historical) property; but the service is exceptional. Huge menu choice. Some room aspects a little dated (& tired to be honest), but what humans usually like about anything is character. This place has character & worth visiting, even for only 1 or 2 nights. Unless on business, I'd say Craiova is just a stopover point. Be prepared for challenges with roads (on satnav/GPS)."

"Station at Craiova away from centre, so do you stay near centre or station, if coming by train? The Rexton dolves that oroblem by being half way. Also quite close to the tram route."

"Great hotel in Craiova. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke english. Both rooms I stayed in were great. Beds were comfortable enough and my AC always worked. Some coworkers had trouble with theirs and the gym is just a bunch of cardio machines. Also not much to eat in the immediate vicinity, however the mall is not too far away. No major complaints would definitely stay here again."
