"It is in excellent shape, but it is time for updates and upgrades. The bathroom's tub is so high it is a fall hazard. The hall carpet on the 4th floor is buckling and dirty. The elevator makes odd noises and bumpy. I love the hotel and have been staying there for over 15 years. The Bay Club is fantastic."

"We had a comfortable stay. The property is listed as a 4-star hotel, but I’d say it’s likely closer to a 3 - 3.5-star, due to the lack of certain amenities as well as “the look and feel” of this hotel. Nothing bad, just not a true 4-star. "

"This was the perfect spot to use touring Napa Valley, ideally situated between Napa and Calistoga. Wonderful restaurants for breakfast at Bouchon Bakery, Model Bakery, lunch at R&D kitchen, dinner at North Block Hotel. There’s Napa Valley bike shop nearby. The hotel itself has a lovely breakfast with coffee/tea, croissants, yogurt/fruit. It has cruiser bikes you can check out to explore. The gym is small, but there is so much outdoor space and a pool. "New clean property. Just a few feet away from bart and other shipping centers. Pretty safe area police patrol all the time. There's a police station next down the block. Keep that in mind."
