"Well looked after hotel. Even though basic it was clean and comfortable. Ideal one night stay but probably not longer as would be cramped as storage space lacking. "

"A one night stop on our journey south. Perfect hotel for this. Parking is secure and 8 euros. The room was a good size with even a small kitchenette. "

"Sejour impeccable, Carole a été très gentille et attentive quant à notre confort dans la chambre Lilas. Seul hic, cette chambre manque d'une table plus grande pour se restaurer (petite table ronde en place). Sinon à part ça, rien à redire, grand terrain et aire de jeux pour les enfants, animaux. Petit déjeuner continental très copieux. Situé à a peine 10 minutes du Zoo de Beauval !"

But for a sizable tourist crowd, they need more than one person. The front desk was supposed to be open at 8 AM. But no one answered the phone and nobody was physically there until about 4 PM."

"The hostess/owner is fabulous! She went above and beyond to help make our stay in the Loire Valley run smoothly. She even drove us to and from the car rental agency! Breakfast is delightful, including home made jams, and the location is beautiful. I wish we'd had more time to stroll around the property. There is a small shared kitchen with plates/glassware, utensils and a fridge. Go to the Amboise market for picnic foods and dine al fresco on the property at one of the outdoor tables. Highly...
