"Top notch property. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The restaurant at the property serves a set course meal worth of a Michelin star. Rooms are huge and very confortable. Unfortunately check in is at 5 pm and check out at 10. Pool does not open until 1 pm and closes at 7 pm so you need to stay at least 2 nights if you want to use it. "

The only downside was that the water had a bad smell and the AC unit made a loud intermittent buzz that was a bit hard to sleep through...but it is a medieval village after all, so there's that to take into consideration. If you're a skier it's a 2-min walk to the ski lifts. The service was brilliant, the staff friendly and really helpful to us as non-Italian speakers. Really couldn't fault the hotel at all."
