"The Parador is located in a very unique place. It is in the National Park, with amazing pine trees, dunes, limestone cliffs, and miles of sand beaches. The views from our room were amazing. And to wake up to the sound of waves and scent of pine trees was an incredible experience. The location is very quiet - there is nothing else but the parador and its protected beach for miles. At the same time, the town of Mozagon with many restaurants is in 8 min drive. But we did not need to go to the town...

"This was a beautiful hotel and we had a lovely experience staying here, from receptionist, to restaurant staff excellent. The breakfast really lovely and we had dinner on first night, lovely food. "Great hotel in Monte Gordo, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful town with amazing beach and very close to the Spanish border. Staff were grand, we had a very good buffet breakfast, main items to choose from. Very close to beach and shops. If needed there is a 2 1/2 mile walk to the border town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio along a straight road but the beach walk is glorious although twice the distance. Beach is just fantastic. Was a small fishing village before tourism and no natural...

I asked for a taxi to the bus station, she hesitated, then called one taxi who said he was busy, she did not adk for how long.
