"Gorgeous funky 60’s architecture with awesome outside spaces. Inside is a time warp needs help but the outside facilities made up for the interior. Don’t like the wasteful disposable plastic cups or paper plates for the pool area for the price. They could use melamine. We went out for meals since the food looked not so great. A pity since they have the best location at Taormina. "

"If you are looking for Sicialian Old World charm, this hotel has it in spades. It is quiet, elegant and tucked away in an unlikely setting. The surrounding buildings and street do not vibe with beautiful hotel. Although it was a short walk downhill to the Roman amphitheater, the uphill climb is not for someone who would rather not exert themselves.
