"We had a nice stay at this hotel; friendly staff, nice food, good sized bedroom and lovely views. We had a standard turret bedroom and whilst it was spacious, the en suite was really small and felt like a shower had been squeezed into a room that used to be a toilet room. There was no space to swing an earwig let alone a cat! The toilet had a cigarette burn on it and the lid on the plastic cistern didn’t fit on the tank. "I had a perfect one night stay. The room is clean and airy (I hate stuffy hotel rooms), bed is comfy, bathroom is excellent, wifi is good, i connected to the tv and watched films while working on my laptop. Great for a business stop and would be ideal for a relaxing couple stop. Breakfast to the room was perfect for me too. Thank you Isobel. "

"Good acomodation booked in with the new property owner Kurt, we were the second transaction made on his hotel account, chap by the bar beat us to no 1 position by a matter of minutes, Kurt had recently bought the Castle Hotel friday the 1st of September was his first day so basically hit the road running! He explained theres going to be big changes / improvements over the coming months so watch the space, as a New Zealander the bar area is going to be a sport bar area with some great rugby...

"This property was very much as described in the listing. It was clean and extremely spacious. The area surrounding is very quiet and peaceful, and very handy for walks. The house is also a central location for travelling to nearby resorts. The owners were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable."
