"Hotel was a 5 minute walk from the ferry. We had a sea view so could watch the ferries come and go. It was well soundproofed and very quiet. Room was clean. Beds and pillows rather hard. "Amazing hotel in the hills with boulder and rock formations within the grounds and views over three hills. Breakfast was lovely with so many options, we ate too much. Also restaurant in the evening so good we ate there three times"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Genovese. Parking was simple and straight forward. The view from our room and balcony was simply unreal. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed dinner from the hotel restaurant twice and both meals were excellent. The breakfast was a little too expensive for the options supplied so we only had it once. The spa amenities were included in our stay and provided some great relief after a long day of walking. "Great location for Palau harbour and we could walk there easily and felt safe. Property is a little old fashioned, but clean. Breakfast was a bit basic but overall for the value for money it was ok. We were given a semi basement room which smelt musty and i asked to be moved which we were to an upper room that was much nicer, but ti is very old fashioned."

"Very nice property with friendly staff. The view from the bar / pool area is fantastic too. Rooms are nice, with everything you need. Breakfast was too expensive for a buffet, not that it was bad, just overpriced. You really need a car as walking into town isn’t very convenient. Bear-in-mind, you’ll be going out for lunch and dinner, possibly breakfast too. The general location is great, but can get extremely busy. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Genovese. Parking was simple and straight forward. The view from our room and balcony was simply unreal. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed dinner from the hotel restaurant twice and both meals were excellent. The breakfast was a little too expensive for the options supplied so we only had it once. The spa amenities were included in our stay and provided some great relief after a long day of walking. Would happily stay here again and highly recommend. You can't beat the location if you want to spend some quality time in Bonifacio. "

The staff were lovely and very helpful. They gave us advice on boat tours around the islands (amazing) local buses to the beaches (€1 at tabac store or €1.50 on the bus) The front desk rented beach towels for €4/day. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choices, and staff were happy to make us cappuccinos. The rooftop patio had lots of potential, with great views, but was rather neglected with a few sunbeds and armchairs but no real shade. The hotel was within walking distance of the beautiful harbour, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended."
