"My wife got stuck in the bathroom due to a faulty door. It took over an hour of me harassing the hotel staff to get maintenance that was dealing with a broken elevator. I pointed out no one was actually in the elevator, and in the event of a fire, my wife would be trapped. The manager was dismissive and didn’t care. "My room had a great view of the water. There was a balcony, too. Room did not have carpeting which makes it feel cleaner as carpeting holds dirt and dust mites. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. Staff was helpful and there was parking available for free as we had a rental vehicle. And because we traveled in the off season, the room rate was excellent."
