"Carpet in the room was old, damaged and dirty, and so was part of the furniture. Bathroom not properly cleaned, disgusting blood stains on the walls and the bathtub curtain. Halls and amenities were pretty modern and clean. Breakfast was a rich, multi-option continental, restaurant spacious and accommodating."

"The best hotel to enjoy the views and attractions in Sinaia! We initially chose this hotel because it has a trail to walk over to the Peleș and Pelișor Castles, but it was so much more. The location is tucked away a little from the main center, but a quick short drive and is even walkable to the city center. This castle was built in the 1890s by Romanian savant BP Hasdeu in memory of his daughter, Julia after she died at the early age of 18. The grieving father started spiritism sessions to contact the spirit of his beloved Julia and it is said that the castle was built following her instructions from the afterlife. On the entrance door there are two inscriptions: the family motto 'Pro fide et patria' and Galilei's famous 'E pur si muove'
