"All facilities were closed at the hotel and areas around the hotel were full of broken bricks. The fountain was not working and completely in disarray. Breakfast was really poor. No tea/coffee facility and we had to ask for food to be brought out. This is definitely not a four star hotel. On top of that, when we came back in the evening, there was no one to be found at reception for around an hour!!!!! A hidden gem near Napoli

"I sincerely enjoyed my stay at Hotel Maddaloni. Everyone on staff was friendly, helpful, and always accommodating. The room and surrounding grounds were immaculate. In fact, I took advantage of my room’s large balcony and inspiring views by sitting outside and writing. While being close to an expressway (perfect for those with a car), the hotel is especially quiet. There’s a market within walking distance and the train/bus station is just a 15-minute drive away. The free breakfast was always tasty and a great start to a busy day of exploring. One evening, I wanted pizza and the concierge graciously ordered one for me from a nearby pizzeria and delivered it to my room. Overall, I have awesome memories of my stay and would encourage anyone looking for a quiet getaway near Napoli to consider Hotel Maddaloni."
